Peel & Stick Alder Veneer (Large)

Flat cut Alder veneer is a light pink to reddish toned wood that darkens with age.

Flat Cut Grade:

Standard A grade flat cut alder wood veneer commonly allows for some defects such as occasional pin knots, some worm tracks and mineral streaks. Alder is a hardwood that is easy to work with and strong, with a satiny, fine texture and tight uniform grain and color. Another common grain characteristic is slight figure or flashing. Flat cut alder wood veneer will accept stains and finishes well but is often finished with a clear coat that preserves the warmth and beauty of the wood’s natural color.

Rustic Grade:

Rustic, or knotty alder veneer commonly has defects such as sound knots, small worm tracks and other natural grain anomalies. Another common grain characteristic is its color variance between flitches.
